Apple & Onion Pizza with Thyme & Balsamumm Drizzle

In this unique recipe, apples turn sweet and tender while onions add a savory balance, enhanced with fresh thyme. Pecans bring a delightful crunch, and the Balsamumm drizzle ties it all together with a burst of flavor. Simple, elegant, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients
1 pizza dough
1 cup grated mozzarella
½ cup chopped pecans
1 apple, thinly sliced
1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
Balsamumm, to serve
Cast iron pizza pan (optional)
Preparation
If using a cast iron pan, place it in the oven and preheat to 500 °F (260 °C).

Core and thinly slice the apple, toss with lemon juice.

Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface. If using the cast iron pan, carefully remove it from the oven and place dough inside (or use a pizza pan). Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with mozzarella.

Add apples, onions, and pecans. Season with salt and pepper. Bake 9 to 12 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.

Serve immediately with fresh thyme and a drizzle of Balsamumm.
