Cheddar Curds Grilled Cheese

A classic grilled cheese, but with a cheese curd twist! By sprinkling extra curds directly into the hot pan before setting the sandwich on top, you create an irresistible crispy-cheesy crust. The inside stays gooey, the outside turns golden and crunchy — perfection on a plate, especially with a drizzle of Balsamumm Original.

Ingredients
2 slices of bread (thick-cut preferred)
1 cup cheddar cheese curds
2 tbsp butter
Balsamumm Original, to serve
Preparation
Butter one side of each bread slice. Place one slice in a skillet, buttered side down. Add ¼ cup of cheddar curds on top.
Cover with the second slice, buttered side up. Grill 2–3 min per side over medium-high heat, pressing lightly, until golden brown.
Remove sandwich, add ¼ cup of curds directly to the pan, place sandwich over, and cook 2 min. Repeat on the other side.
Serve hot with Balsamumm Original drizzle.
